A time series database is uniquely positioned to solve the challenges of millions of events coming in, which you need to filter and analyse. Each time series consists of a metric plus one or more tags associated with this metric (we'll cover tags in a bit). This blog post is an introduction to my setup with these tools on a Raspberry Pi.
